Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-11-03
FnTempMail Web (the “Service”) is an anonymous disposable email web client with no registration. We follow data minimization: we do not ask for your name, phone number, account or password. This policy explains what the Service processes, where it is stored, and how you can control it.
1. Information we process
- Anonymous device identity: on first entering the inbox or settings, the browser creates an ins_... identifier and a random secret in localStorage. They are used to call the API and bind subscriptions, and contain no name, phone number or other personal identity.
- Mailboxes and mail: the temporary addresses you create, received message bodies, and attachment metadata. The server receives and temporarily stores mail; the browser caches message summaries and bodies locally so they remain viewable after server cleanup.
- MCP access: when MCP is enabled, the server creates an mcp_live_... credential and stores only its hash. The full URL is shown once when generated or rotated. Any AI client that receives that URL can access the mailboxes and mail bound to the instance.
- Logs and analytics: for security, troubleshooting and aggregate traffic measurement, the server may record access logs, errors and anonymous analytics. We do not record message bodies, passwords or device secrets.
2. Where data is stored
- Browser local storage: device identity, message summaries, body cache, read state, language and layout. Clearing site data removes these.
- Server: temporary addresses, mail and sync records used for receiving, syncing and MCP access. Mail content may be deleted after the mailbox expires, messages are consumed, or cleanup runs.
- Attachment binaries and raw .eml files are not cached in the browser. They may become unavailable after server cleanup.
3. Retention
- Free mailbox addresses expire 24 hours after creation; Pro addresses can be kept long-term. Messages themselves are cleaned up after receipt or mailbox expiry, and we do not promise permanent message storage.
- MCP can only read mail still retained by the server. It cannot read the browser’s local cache.
4. Third parties and sharing
- Payments: Pro subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not receive full card numbers.
- AI/MCP clients you connect: their own privacy policies and terms apply.
- We do not sell your data for advertising or other unrelated purposes.
5. Security
- The site uses HTTPS; email HTML renders only in a sandboxed iframe; MCP credentials are stored as hashes; device secrets stay in your browser.
- No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Do not use a disposable inbox to receive or retain highly sensitive information.
6. Your choices
- Delete a message or an entire mailbox.
- Disable or rotate the MCP URL at any time; the old URL stops working immediately.
- Clear site data to remove the local identity, message cache and read state.
- Stop using the Service.
7. Changes and contact
This policy may change as features evolve. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top. Questions: support@fn-tempmail.cc.
